Oily, tarry and even hard deposits similar to graphite can develop under unfavourable conditions
for combustion, such as when the burner is incorrectly set or when burning moist, solid fuels -
especially wood. These layers can hardly be removed mechanically. Similarly resistant deposits
can also develop in smoking chambers, from fatty vapours and the products of thermal fission.


Fauch 300

Is a liquid, sprayable, alkaline cleaning concentrate with special additives, which can be
diluted in accordance to the application.

Penetrates into the layer of gloss soot and makes it dry out. As a result, the layers become
loose and can be removed mechanically.

Application


Cool down the boiler system to between 50 °C and 70 °C. Apply Fauch 300 - in concentrated
form or diluted - with an alkali-resistant, pressurized sprayer (e.g., a Fauch 400 hand-held unit) to
the tarry layers several times, until the layers begin to soften. Allow to take effect for 5 to 10
minutes approximately. Subsequently heat up the boiler, in order to dry it out thoroughly. Any
adhering residues that are left can be removed mechanically. The detached residues must be
removed through the cleaning opening, in the case of oil-fired systems. The residues are currently
burnt in the case of systems fired by solid fuel: the residue is then removed together with the
ashes.

Safety advice

Highly corrosive. Wear safety glasses and suitable, protective gloves. Do not bring into contact
with the hair and clothing. Keep in a safe place that is inaccessible to children.
